Mendocino Coast Clinics Presents our 2008 Crab & Wine Festival Event Celebrity Judges. Chef Domenica Catelli has positively influenced the way millions of families eat and prepare food across the United States with her tasty, easy, healthy approach to cooking. Domenica is the national spokesperson for the Organic Trade Association’s 2008 national campaign, “Go Organic! for Earth Day.” She is a featured chef on Fox News in Houston for the "Fox Grill," she is an Iron Chef Judge, a guest on iVillage and “Oprah and Friends,” with Dr. Oz on XM radio, and has been featured in Vegetarian Times, Kiwi Magazine, and Oprah.com. She is among a select few accomplished chefs entrusted to cook with celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Montel Williams, Thandie Newton, and George and Barbara Bush. Her first cookbook, “Mom-a-licious: Fresh fast, family food for the hot mama in you!” was published in Fall 2007. Her contributions can also be seen in the James Beard award-winning cookbook, Back to the Table, by Art Smith, and on products in tens of thousands of grocery stores nationwide. Chef John Ash: came to national prominence when he was selected by Food & Wine Magazine as one of America’s “Hot New Chefs.” John is a nationally renowned wine and food educator, and served for many years as the Culinary Director for Fetzer and Bonterra Vineyards.
