Our friends from Vitalant will be here on the coast for a blood drive this week. You can donate in Mendocino at the firehouse at 44700 Little Lake Road on Tuesday, April 9th, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, or in Fort Bragg on Wednesday, April 10 from 1:00 to 5:30 pm and Thursday, April 11 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at the church hall at 367 S. Sanderson Way. You can make an appointment here or phone 1-877-258-4825.
MCC’s Nurse Manager, Maria Bermudez, advises blood donors to hydrate well before donating blood, eat a salty snack the day before donating to help keep blood pressure normal, and to remember to bring your ID with you. Thank you to all for donating!
