The Coastal Street Medicine program is a collaborative effort, with Mendocino Coast Clinics and the Mendocino Coast Hospitality Center working together to bring basic medical services to homeless men and women in our community. The service is free and confidential.

MCC employees Dr. Barbara Kilian and receptionist Ana Toscano attend each Street Medicine session. Barbara provides health checks, wound care, and primary care services. Due to the difficulties these patients may have with making and keeping appointments, Street Medicine patients are encouraged to utilize the Walk-in Clinic at MCC, where no appointment is needed.

Ana is at the reception window to welcome Street Medicine patients to the Walk-In Clinic. Having a consistent presence both at the Street Medicine program and at the Clinic makes these patients feel more comfortable and at ease.
