This Doctors’ Day is more special than ever, as we celebrate Dr. Patricia Chico joining MCC’s staff earlier this month. Dr. Chico is a board-certified Family Physician, who offers care for the whole family throughout the life cycle, from pregnancy and newborn care to geriatrics. She is dedicated to supporting each person on their journey to wellness and healing. Welcome, Dr. Chico!
Dr. Chico joins MCC’s amazing team of doctors, many of whom provide unique services to our unique community, starting with our Medical Director, Dr. Lawrence Goldyn. Not only has Dr. Goldyn led us through a global pandemic armed with good sense and scientific knowledge, he is also the only HIV/AIDS specialist in the entire County, traveling far and wide to provide this important service.
Dr. Brent Wright is the only OB/GYN on the Coast, delivering countless local babies over the years, and we are very lucky to have him on staff. Dr. Chris Robshaw and Dr. Gayle Tyerman are the only pediatricians on the Coast, taking the #bestcareanywhere of our community’s children from newborn into the teenage years. Dr. Barbara Kilian provides LGBTQ+ services through her Open Door clinic, the only service like this on our Coast.
Dr. Jennifer Kreger sees patients in our Walk In Clinic on Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons, making sure that patients who need to be seen right away get expert care when they need it. She and her husband, Dr. Wade Gray, are also active in Hubs & Routes, helping our rural community to be better prepared for natural and man-made disasters. In addition to primary care services, Dr. Gray is also licensed to provide Suboxone services to patients who are battling opioid use disorder.
On Doctors’ Day and every day, MCC is proud to have such an outstanding group of doctors dedicated to caring for our community. Happy Doctors’ Day to the best doctors anywhere!
