Make your health a priority this year! Cancer screenings can save lives with early detection.
Did you know:
– Women aged 45-55 should get an annual mammogram, switching to every 2 years at age 55 and up.
– The recommended age to start screening for colorectal cancer is now 45. That doesn’t mean you have to have a colonoscopy. Easy, non-invasive home test options are now available. Ask your provider what’s best for you.
– Pap tests should start at the age of 21 to screen for cervical cancer. We now have self-collected tests that are done in clinic, as an alternative to traditional Pap tests. Ask your provider about your options.
