Good News, Bad News

We have some good news and some bad news. First, the bad news…

Dr. Ben Housel, a much-loved provider, has announced his well-deserved retirement at the end of this year after nearly ten years at MCC and 40 years in emergency medicine. He will be missed very much by his patients and all of us who have had the pleasure to work with him. We hope Ben and his wife Nancy enjoy retirement and will continue to volunteer at our annual fundraising event.

Now for the good news!

We are delighted to announce that Nadege Nerette, Physician Assistant, will be starting work at MCC next week, and that Dr. Ahmad Shahzad will be here in September. For now, we have a 4 month agreement with him to give him time to make the decision on staying on as permanent staff. Fingers crossed!

Dr. Jennifer Kreger will be joining the MCC staff in early October and will be seeing the walk in clinic patients. Walk in clinic hours are 8:30 to 10:30 am on Thursdays and 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Fridays.

Welcome to these wonderful new providers! We are looking forward to working with you! #bestcareanywhere
