National Health Center Week is August 6-12, 2023. During this week, we celebrate the work and dedication of community health centers across the country, including MCC and our sister clinics Redwood Coast Medical Services, Long Valley Health Center, and Anderson Valley Health Center. Community health centers like ours strengthen the economic, physical, and emotional health of our communities.

We’re mixing it up a little this week! Walk in clinic this week will be from 1:20 to 4:00 on both Thursday and Friday, August 3 and 4. We will return to our regular walk in clinic schedule next week.

COVID vaccines and boosters are available under the tent at 205 South Street from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday. Just drive on up to get your free shot!

If you need a COVID test, drive up to the tent from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and we’ll take care of you.

We had an amazing time at our annual staff retreat yesterday! We had a series of educational workshops, enjoyed lunch from La Palapa, and just had fun spending time together.

We also celebrated a LOT of staff milestones this year: a total of 22. Twelve staff members marked 5 years on #teammcc, four reached 10 years with us, and five employees have spent 15 years and counting with MCC! One of our dentists, Dr. Tad Ulatowski, reached his 20th anniversary of working for us and caring for our community. Truly impressive.

While the rest of us were having fun, our IT staff were moving hundreds of pounds of equipment from our Sequoia Circle site to to South Street, so our servers will be powered by our new generator if the power goes out. Our computers were working perfectly this morning. Thanks to our IT staff and everyone on #teammcc for bringing the #bestcareanywhere to the Coast!

We will be closed for the afternoon of Tuesday, July 25 for our annual staff meeting.

There will be no COVID vaccines on Tuesday, July 25. COVID testing will end at 11:30.

If you need us while we’re closed, please call (707) 964-1251 and the on call provider will phone you as soon as possible.

For the week of July 24, COVID testing will be available from 9 am to 1:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday through Friday, but not on Tuesday.

It’s a beautiful day on the Mendocino Coast! Let’s get this week started!

We will have extra walk in clinic slots on Tuesday, July 18, from 1:20 to 4:00 pm. This is in addition to our regular walk in clinic on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11 and Friday afternoon from 1:30 to 3 pm.

On Tuesday, we’ll be under the tent with COVID boosters from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

COVID testing is available under the tent from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
